Dr. Maria Teresa Massaro has been in her current profession for the past 15 years and has worked as a Hematologist for the last 10 providing services for neurological patients, in the hematology unit. Dr. Massaro's line of work has provided her the opportunity to travel to Italy, Spain, and Venezuela. In her free time, she volunteers with the paraplegic and with immigrants from Africa. In recent years, there have been an influx in migration from Africa to Italy, and Dr. Massaro has provided medical care to some of these individuals. She participates in conferences and seminars within the Medical Scientific Association, and has been published in communications posters. Dr. Massaro is looking forward to networking with like-minded professionals, gaining further clinical and medical experiences. She believes that being passionate about her work is the key to her success.
