More than 25 years
Najiba Laima Kasraee is the founder and editor of BBC Academy, an international website translated into 42 languages. She has over 16 years of experience in broadcast journalism, and makes sure the editors are upholding the rules of journalism. She identified a need for journalistic education, pitched the idea to the BBC, and established the Academy.
With a master's degree in the History of Journalism and Print Journalism from Moscow State University, Najiba has been a keynote public speaker at different conferences worldwide, teaching journalists in multiple languages. She has also written and published books for children, and has been recipient of the top radio award with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Najiba credits her success to hard work, collaboration, great networking and thinking outside the box. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
