Natalie is inspired by her passion for people and mentoring them towards their goals and successes. Living in South Africa she is helping previously disadvantaged people (due to apartheid under the previous government) to obtain a proper job and to have a future. Natalie's heart is helping every individual who has lost their dream to reach their "star" potential. This is what gave rise to the uniquely artistic and creative décor range, now produced by the company, with products that have started to sell worldwide. I had a dream of empowering the people of the Rainbow Nation in South Africa in order for each person to reach their potential of their own “star”. This is what gave rise to the uniquely artistic and creative décor range, now produced by us. The name Rainbow Inkwenkwezi was conceived from the beautiful colours of our handmade products created and produced by the people of our Rainbow Nation. “Inkwenkwezi” a Xhosa word meaning star, was derived from a dream of mine to create opportunities for individuals to shine. This unique employment upliftment business, creating hand made products, using a variety of high quality South African fabrics including the locally produced Shweshwe Fabric. Shweshwe fabric is the only true ethnic South African fabric, popularised by Bongiwe Walaza (a renowned South African clothes designer) and produced by Da Gama Textiles. Her future plans include expanding Rainbow Inkwenkwezi into an industrial building with international expansion. Aside from English, Natalie also speaks Afrikaans. this project was started in September 2013 – Present (1 year 2 months)|Stellenbosch, South Africa)
