Nyrva L. Santiago-Zapata has spoken in presentations and workshops about Special Education and has done many workshops with Head Start programs. Nyrva has translated curriculum in Head Start programs in Puerto Rico. She volunteers at her community Senior Center. Nyrya is now enjoying her retirement by spending time with her son and his family, and is the grandmother of 11 grandchildren!
