Skilled in Research and Development with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Technical University of Madrid, class of 2015, focused on Computer Science. Dr. Nuria Sanchez has over 10 years in her profession and is currently CEO of Visiona Ingeniería de Proyectos. Actively involved in several R&D National and European Projects (from the VI FP to H2020) in relation with Intelligent Transportation Systems, Safety and Audiovisual technologies. More than 10 years as Technical Manager in charge of design product/services through the stages of R&D/design to prototyping stages; developing the project plan, managing the project team, risk/contingency plan design, resources planning/budget allocation, conflict solving. Nowadays, working on strong business development, actively contributing to the re-design of the organization itself, creating market from initial R&D activity, transferring knowledge and updating the Workplace helping the spin-off Visiona to grow to become a highly innovative SME in Europe. Assuming also responsibilities of decision maker on strategy and other key policy issues, leader and executor. Collaboration with different EC agencies as independent expert. She wants to continue running her own company and continue to grow hiring more employees, creating new companies. The key to her success is passion and hard work.
