Odila Coelho Braga is a travel and human photographer with a special love for street photography. She started in photography in 2010 after first spending several years as an underwater archeologist with UNESCO. While working with UNESCO, she performed research on slave trade routes and did a specific project on a slave ship that sunk at the juncture of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans from 1997 to 1999. Odila's father was an amateur photographer with a dark room at home and he instilled the love of photography in her. He often took her along with him on his photography outings and let her participate in the dark room. Odila is established in Portugal and is currently preparing a proposal to submit for an Exhibit of her work in her municipality in the summer. She plans to be established in other parts of the world and particularly LATAM and to hold at least 1 private exhibit a year and be well known and followed for her work on social media platforms like Instagram. When not engaged with work, Odila enjoys cooking.
