Dr. Ouida Lee is the Senior Pastor at The United Methodist Church. She has been in her position for over 27 years. She spends her average day budgeting, preaching, counseling and mentoring inside and out of the congregation. She is also a Board Member for Pastor Authentication and Nomination. Dr. Lee has always been involved in the church and feels she was called from God to be engaged with people. She is noted for preaching, mentoring and her leadership skills. She received her Doctoral degree of Ministry from the Southern Methodist University in 2004 and her Master’s Degree from Dallas Baptist University in 1996. She is the President of the Clergy Women of United Methodist Church and a Board Member of City of Desoto. She does some public speaking when she hosts an online bible study. She is a producer for the show Talk of the Town and she has written two books: Simply Pray and Exempt From the Wave. In the next few years she says her vision as she retires is to start interviewing people similar to the cable network and she wants to start an organization to help rebuild people’s hopes. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
