Pam Capasso has been in the education field for 18 years having begun her career as a First Grade Teacher. After taking a job as a Media Specialist (Librarian) in another district, she went back to school to become certified as a school librarian.
Pam is involved with many committees at her current school, Holly Glen Elementary. She has also been involved with writing grants, and has presented at workshops and national conferences. Pam has experience teaching children with Autism and handling education management duties such as year book, public relations, budgets, and training teachers.
Pam holds her degree in Sociology from Rowin University and was named Teacher of the Year five years ago. Moving forward, she hopes to re-open a new library and to do as much volunteer work as possible.
When not engaged with work, Pam enjoys traveling, fitness, reading, hiking and biking. She also donates time and resources with Lead the Way, The Gift of Life, and Wakes & Wishes.
