Pamela Bermudez is the Director of the Association of International Airlines in Colombia - ALAICO, an entity of a trade union nature, non-profit, founded on October 25, 1955 in order to promote the preservation, the defense and the development of the international air transport industry interest in Colombia. She started with ALAICO 16 years ago and recently became the Director and Executive Assistant to the Association´s President. She is responsible for industry networking, and associates representation before national government representatives, airport operators, and control authorities to ensure legal stability, contribute to the implementation of common policy agenda, and improve airport infrastructure. She received her Master of Organizational Psychology at Portland State University, and Specialist in Organizations, Social Responsibility and Development. Pamela began her career in Human Resources within the financial sector. In the next 3-5 years Pamela is looking for new job opportunities to contribute creating value at a more global level organization, while continuing learning and growing professionally. The highlight of her career is establishing regulatory reform and government relations for trade associations. When not working she enjoys reading and cultural activities.
