Personal Information
Pamela Dyer graduated as Clinical Psychologist in 2006 with her Master in Adult Clinical Psychology and began her career in public service at the Salvador Hospital and Ministry of Women and Gender Equality in Santiago de Chile, and later as Head Mental Health Department at Quellon Hospital on the southern island of Chiloe. Having lived in Barcelona and The Netherlands, she became aware about the experiences of therapy in a foreign country. Upon returning to Chile she started her private practice, and gave birth to Backwater Psychotherapy: Therapy in English for expatriates living in Santiago de Chile. She simultaneously gains experience handling Drug & Alcohol Abuse and Addiction Treatment, and is currently part of the Team at Nuevo Norte Psicoterapia.
She believes the key to her success is being open and honest with her clients and being that listening ear that they need. Pamela is an international affiliate member of the American Psychological Association.
When not engaged with work, she enjoys Flamenco dance.
