Patricia Bonaert has had a thriving business for over 20 years. Her business, Expatkit works with heads of HR in international companies to support the families that they are sending abroad on professional assignments. The aim is to use the transition to build resiliency and use it as a life skill. She realized recently that it was all about creating communities of likeminded people which made any transition easier. She is now a director for MixR.net, a unique plateform that enables trust and belonging in the workspace by activating and managing the power of communities@work. Being an expiate herself she has first hand knowledge of the experience and can easily empathize and share her own personal experiences. She often takes part in public speaking engagements discussing topics like: never loose the opportunity for a good transition, the future of work, the power of communities to accelarate growth. She is very passionate about topics like diversity, inclusivity and belonging. Her vision for the future is to expand MixR in different parts of the world. She looks forward to networking with like-minded professionals. She speaks fluent French, Dutch, English, Italian and German.
