She is an experienced manager and leader (Division Deputy Director) within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency responsible for operating the Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act programs that provide or arrange health insurance coverage to a total of 54.0 million Medicare, 80.6 million Medicaid as well as over 9 million beneficiaries through the marketplace. Patricia is a a registered nurse with 23 years of clinical, leadership, management, administrative and educational experience in a variety of acute care inpatient and outpatient settings.
