I am the Head of Learning and Development at Emergence Growth where I apply my passion and expertise in Quality Assurance of skills programs, facilitating management and leadership programs and I am a passionate advocate for Human Resource Business Partnering and Strategic Human Resource Management and Coaching for Performance. I more recently implemented and lead the project to bring the first Global HR Qualification accredited by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) USA to South Africa for Emergence Growth, where my role is to head up the facilitation; management; assessment and moderation of the SHRM qualifications in SA and Africa.My projects have included aspects such as designing and implementing management training workshops, skills development facilitation process design and implementation policies and facilitation. I have been involved with large corporate clients in various projects regarding: Competency Management tools and processes; strategic HR Development, including: HR Business Partners; Leadership and Management Skills; Coaching for Performance; Performance Management Strategies and systems; Recognition of Prior Learning, Administering and implementing Learnerships, Alignment of Training Material to Unit Standards, Writing and registering unit standards and the accreditation of providers and learning programmes. I am an active member of the Business Women’s Association of SA and have assisted with their Succeed Campaign where she wrote the mentoring handbook. I was one of a team of mentors, mentoring three Women Councillors in Local Government. I worked on the Board at the SA Board for People Practice (SABPP) for three years, where I chaired the Learning and Development Initiative for three years. I now serve on the Competency Framework Committee for the IPM SA Continuous Professional Development programs in Human Resource Management.
