Paula Tin Nyo is a marketing and art consultant dedicated to improving cross-cultural awareness, good will and prosperity through creativity in the business model. Paula's main goal is to share the culture of Myanmar artists with the world, as this is the first opportunity for these artists to have freedom of expression. She participates in art exhibits in Singapore, London, Los Angeles and Miami and frequently speaks about creating global equivalency through the arts, women's rights and transcultural beauty. Paula has been published in Art Week, City Paper in Washington D.C., and is co-editor of Film Arts Foundation's newsletter, and editor of Newsreel. She values herself as being a pioneer of sharing culture and artwork from Myanmar. Paula hopes that others will take the torch and be inspired by work of the contemporary artists from Myanmar. She is a native of Myanmar and is Founder and CEO of Yone Arts. Paula was born in Yangon, Myanmar and is a third generation artist and writer from the premiere media family in post-colonial Burma. Her grandfather, Edward Law Yone, was editor-in-chief of The Nation and was imprisoned and exiled for his editorials espousing democratic values in the newly minted post-colonial nation of what was then called Burma. Since her exile status has been lifted, Paula has made dozens of trips into Myanmar in order to discover, interview and share the work of its unsung artists with the international arts community.
