Rachel Fawn Kolb has 20 years of photography experience and has owned her own company, Rachel Kolb Photography for a year and a half. She began her interest in photography when she was younger going through her grandmother's photo albums. She shot her first wedding at 12 years old after she received her first camera and the interest grew from there. In college, Rachel took a digital photography course and decided to make it her career. Since starting her own business, Rachel has shot over 40 weddings and has completed 100 portrait sessions. Her specialization is candid photography and capturing her clients in a very special way.
Rachel has had her work published on Basicinvite.com, a growing partnership she obtained through work. In the future she hopes to be one of the premiere wedding photographers in El Dorado County and watch her business grow into something more profitable. She has been very successful with her business due to her affordable prices and that fact that her work is so unconventional. Clients really enjoy her spin on things. One of her proudest moments was shooting a two day Muslim ceremony and being immersed in the difference of the culture. it was a beautiful experience to be a part of and she looks forward to being a part of more diverse experiences moving forward. Her hobbies include singling, parenting and food.
