Dr. Renee Van Heerden is the owner of Resilience Trauma Management and Life Skills Development. With over 21 years of experience in her career, Dr. Van Heerden is best known for her expertise in trauma management, life coaching, stress management, trauma counseling and trauma Psychological First Aid [On-the-scene Trauma Management]. Dr. Van Heerden is responsible for providing Trauma Counseling, Life Coaching and Life Skills Development training nationally to corporate clients Following the completion of her bachelor’s and honnours degrees in communication as well as psychology, Dr. Van Heerden received a master’s degree in research psychology at the University of Pretoria, as well as a bachelor's degree in Christian Counselling from Common Wealth University in the UK. In 1998, she completed a doctoral degree in psychology at the University of Johannesburg. Currently, Dr. Van Heerden is a member of Toast Masters International, the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the Council for Counselors of South Africa. In the next three to five years, Dr. Van Heerden would like to continue helping trauma victims. She credits her success to her religion, determination and the passion she has for her work. Dr. Van Heerden is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals.
