Rivka Simmel-Batescoff is the Senior Designer for Burlington English. She has over 25 years of overall experience and has been in her current role for 13 years. She works on various projects from scratch and works with illustrators, editors and writers. Rivke takes part in meeting and helps develop strategies. She consults with clients abroad in countries such as Greece and Spain.
She says she went into this field because it was her "calling." She is also an illustrator and artist, had own business for 15 years and has always loved fashion and design. Rivka’s expertise are in corporate design and visual concept. She speaks German, English, Hebrew, and French.
Rivka has a degree in Communication and Design from Germany in 1989. She is a member of Picture and Arts in Germany. She speaks at workshops and internally while coaching artists and speaking on the philosophy of their art. She illustrated a book 2018.
In the future she hopes to do more illustration and art, more projects, enter more art exhibitions and work on passion projects related to music and education. She says her success has come from her passion to help understand students. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
