Rafaela Magalhães is a Goldsmith for Meera Jóias. She has been a partner of the business for three years. Rafaela originally went to chemical engineering school but after starting a family she could not work in that field anymore. She took a jewelry course and loved it and making jewelry became her passion. She says that she specialized in making rings. She also makes earrings, pendants, chokers and wedding bands.
Rafaela has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from UFF in Rio De Janeiro in 2006. In the future she hopes to open another small shop on the same street where she can obtain more visibility. She attributes her successful business to the affordable prices they offer. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
