Reading reference books and fighting the use of environmental & harmful toxins in everyday products
Robyn Hill started her own firm, Mint Fox Media LLC, in 2017 to unite freelance artists in collaboration to produce films, videos and photographs. She has been a visual artist for over 10 years working as a photographer, cinematographer, videographer and film editor. Her work includes serving as the Second Unit Assistant Director on the feature length documentary film, Botso - Teacher from Tblisi.
After receiving her degree in Dramatic Arts and Broadcast Communication from Cuesta College, Ms. Hill spent many years as a freelancer, working under other directors as well as producing and directing her own projects. She was prompted to found Mint Fox Media LLC in 2017 to achieve her goals of growing a team of freelancers to work with on and off set and building a business that can eventually employ a team of interdisciplinary artistic professionals.
Moving forward, Ms. Hill plans to expand her business and to grow the size of her average project from $5,000 - $10,000 to $50,000 and above. She believes her key to success has been and will continue to be showcasing her work and networking. She considers the work she did on "Botso" her greatest professional achievement thus far and she looks forward to networking with likeminded female professionals internationally.
In her spare time, Ms. Hill enjoys singing and playing the guitar, and is passionate about fighting the use of harmful toxins in everyday products.
