Renata Vera Schumacher, PhD, MPH is a Public Health consultant who initially started working for a housing development company as a consultant. After that, she worked for John Snow Incorporated in Boston as a consultant. She has been working in public health all over the world including working for WHO.
Renata completed her degree in Maternal and Child Health in Spain and graduated in 1989. She finished her Master’s in Public Health in 1993. She is part of Colombian Public Health Association. Renata lectures in Spain on international public health. She has had works published including research studies.
In the next few years she hopes to continue working in public health and working with people confronted by severe illness. Renata is interested to work in social justice and holistic healing and is completing gestalt training and learning to use body movement to heal - holistic healing. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
