Education, Honors & Awards
Rupi Nandra MBE has 15 years experience and is currently Head of International Programmes at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. Her primary concern is focusing on their members and running a government funded program that supports exports in the UK. She provides direct support to clients, and support management for clients. She started out at the chamber of commerce because someone was on maternity leave, and her role has grown from there. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies from Birmingham City University. She conducts workshops for the international trade center and the World Trade Organization. She was honored in 2015 by Queen Elizabeth II for services in international business and development. The best thing for her has been having parents that instilled in her the importance of having an education. Her mentor was the embodiment of international trade and was a driving inspirational force for her. His joy was seeing other people succeed. She is most proud of her honors from the majesty the queen. One of the highlights of her work has been seeing the opportunities created for employees that changed their lives.
