Expertise in targeted cancer biomarker development and therapeutic options, molecular proteomic and genomic profiling, cutting edge treatment in lung cancer and leukemia. Managed Medical scientific liaison field teams, developed thought leader network at various US cancer centers, initiated and managed phase I, II and III clinical trials in Leukemia, Chaired advisor boards, CME programs, participated in seminars, speakers at national and international conferences, editor myeloma newsletter, volunteered with patient support groups for lung cancer, leukemia and lymphoma. Dr Sairah Alvi has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, living and working in the Greater Chicago area, as Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs with Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry. Sairah has 17 years of extensive professional experience in the area of Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma, lung cancer research and treatment, proteomic and genomic profile of cancer patients, and targeted cancer therapy. She has established thought leader network in hematology/oncology at various cancer centers through out the country , as well as in England, India and South Africa. She is committed to helping improve the lives of cancer patients whether it is with innovative new treatments or accurate diagnosis or clinical trials. She is actively involved in physician education through Advisory boards, Continuing medical education organizations, scientific meetings and publications. Sairah has over 100 scientific publications, including a book chapters, several awards and honors, all related to her profession. Sairah attributes her professional success to years of hard work, passion and commitment to cancer patients and desire to make a difference in their lives one patient at at time. Sairah is seeking to network with like minded professionals to share future scientific advances in cancer research and treatment .
