Sandra Anne Duckworth is the Managing Director at Tubosider U.K. Ltd. Prior to her current role, she served as Communications Director, and was Acting Managing Director starting in 2009. Anne's other roles also included 7 years as the company's accountant. Her key responsibilities involve overseeing every part of their UK subsidiary of their large group based in Italy, managing a team of just under 40 people, manufacturing on site, and overseeing financial aspects. Her area of expertise is finance and accounting, as well as team-building and management.
Going forward, Anne wants to expand her network internationally and also mentor other members so that they can be empowered the way she has in her field and career. Anne enjoys spending time with her family, including her 3 grandsons ages 9, 6, and 1. She supports several cancer and children's charities, and contributes regularly to breast cancer organizations including Marie Curie. Anne also sponsors a girl in Kenya to provide her with an education through Plan UK, and supports Dog Trust in the UK, sponsoring a dog for each of her grandsons.
