Sandy LaFantasie has been an expert in her career for 35 years. Sandy's experience entails school counseling and teaching. She is now the owner of AR Career Kids, LLC. AR Career Kids provides after school meals and career guidance to at-risk youth.The company is funded through the DHS at-risk meals program and operates on a local level. Sandy attributes her success to being passionate about what she does. She currently teaches at (JAG) Jobs for America's Graduates and has been in this position for about 8 years. Sandy is also an AWANA Leader West Race Baptist Church. This program is held every Wednesday to help 5th and 6th grade students memorize Bible verses. Her main focus for the future is to continue her efforts to feeding underprivileged children in an after-school setting.
