Sarah McDevitt is Director at Radical, an agency within the Core Media group working closely with colleagues and clients to monitor the rate of technological change and shifting consumer mindset in order to produce data-led insights. Radical distills the most up-to-the-minute information about consumers into a simple user-friendly form.
Sarah is also Chairperson for Help Us Give Smiles aka “HUGS,” which she founded in 2009. HUGS is a youth resource center in Kenya; it is a community based organization that helps the orphans and other less fortunate children. It is a self-activated program that gives individuals from all walks of life the opportunity to take part in overseas charity projects in Kenya for a period of two weeks. In 2005, Sarah began traveling to Kenya to work with street children and HIV orphans. Easter week, Sarah takes eight people from her staff to Kenya to volunteer. Sarah also directs a theater company that will be performing Shakespeare in the Park in Dublin and will tour Ireland this year for Fortune Fools Productions. She has a Bachelors in Media Production and Management and a Bachelors in Radio Broadcasting and Production. Having garnered much success in the advertising industry, she attributes her success to her honesty, her ability to do things in an innovative way, and her ability to finding solutions to complex problems. Sarah's future plans are to have a more senior management position.
