Sarah-Louise Moreland is the Executive Director of the Hertfordshire Agricultural Society, a non-profit organization committed to promoting food and farming in her region of London, England. She was granted this new job position in March of 2018 but has been working in education and professional development for the majority of her life. No day is ever the same for Sarah-Louise. Not only does she spend time promoting agriculture, she also educates others on a business level in terms of entrepreneurship and widening their reach when it comes to promoting agriculture and other related business ventures. Sarah-Louise was prompted to get involved in this particular profession because of its excitement. She is able to look at things differently while holding true to traditional values and beliefs. Sarah-Louise enjoys taking on a leadership role in agriculture farming which is predominantly a male dominated area. She is best noted for her ability to educate and coach along with her development in motion business. Sarah Louise holds a Master's Degree in Education Leadership from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Greenwich in the UK. She is a member of the Local Chamber of Commerce, British Dressage, Side Saddle Association and ASAO (The Association of Show Organizers). She has had public speaking engagements at the Riders Are Disabled National Conference as well as local fundraising events for the non-profit sector. She was honored with an award from the MBE: Members of the British Empire. Professionally speaking, Sarah-Louise would like to see the field of agriculture go all the way, placing it on a center stage. She hopes to continue promoting agriculture and farming in the county as there are many growth opportunities available. Sarah-Louise would hope to look closer into finding a more innovative way to support the education of food and farming. On a personal level, Sarah-Louise loves to spend time with her family. Her hobbies include riding horses and traveling. When it comes to charitable organizations and volunteer work within the community, she is actively involved with Riding for the Disabled.
