Seema Kumar is Vice President of Innovation, Global Health, and Policy Communication at Johnson & Johnson. She is responsible for creating stakeholder engagement platforms for the company globally, aimed at building trust, collaboration and advocacy for Johnson & Johnson as a pioneer in innovation and R&D across all sectors, a partner of choice for the scientific and business community, a thought leader among opinion leaders and policy makers, and a global health architect who collaborates with NGOs and governments to improve people’s lives.
Seema is an advocate for science and technology and would like to see diverse students get into the science and technology field and achieve success. For her, success has been due to hard work, a sense of urgency, and having a passion for her work. Over the next few years, she would like to be the CEO of her own Media and Publishing Company as well as create an NGO in her home of India. Seema speaks five languages and has been published in several magazines and across digital media.
