Shabana Kassam, Information Security Consultant at SK Consulting Inc., is an information technology and security professional with over 20 years of experience and extensive experience in managing corporate-wide IT initiatives with concentration on corporate information security (CIS), payment card industry (PCI), SOX, privacy (PIPEDA), audits, strategic planning and business continuity planning (BCP) for stakeholders of the telecommunications, finance, banking, manufacturing and publishing industries.
Shabana has an MBA in Management Information Systems and Services from Aspen University, 2008, and a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Mumbi, 1994. She has many certifications and a strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of IT risk, internal control frameworks and PCI DSS. She has a broad range of experience in implementation of solutions to support business requirements using planning, analysis, design, development, and testing. To inspire the younger generation, she lectures at local schools and finds great reward learning from others. Going forward, she plans to have a more global position and welcome new opportunities. She would also would like to become a spokesperson for technology and a mentor for the next generation.
