Shamini Peter is Chief Operating Officer for Axis Promotions Inc., and has over 13 years experience in her field. She acts as compliance director and oversees import and export manufacturing environments. In 2016 she got promoted to COO, and now manages staff, and all operational parts.
She got into her profession by chance, with a background in accounting finance, and eventually went into role of manufacturing. She specializes in safety and compliance on consumer products, and has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance from University of Western Australia, 1997. She is member of PPAI, and does public speaking, webinars, and articles for different publications in the industry.
In 2012 she received the Rising Star Award and in 2017 was honored with the Woman of the Year Award. As a mom, she came into industry on part time basis as a minority woman in a very male dominated industry, and worked her way up. She is proud of how far she has come. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
