With over 18 years of experience in her field, Sharon Bates is the CEO and Founder of the Anthony Bates Foundation, a nonprofit fundraising for cardiac screenings for kids working with various schools. After Sharon's son died tragically from sudden cardiac arrest, she was led to this profession in order to help others.
Sharon holds her Bachelor's degree in Management Sales & Marketing and is a member of Parent Heart Watch and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association. Her work and that of her foundation has been featured in magazines since 2003 and she was the recipient of the Woman of the Year award, the Totes Wasters Communication Award from the Daniel Rump Foundation, and the Daily Points of Life award by former President H.W Bush.
