i have a small family. mom of late, Dad in South Africa. Brother is an engineer and CEO and my sister-in-law is a doctor lecturing postgrad students. I have a brilliant nephew of 12 and an awesome , cute niece of 10 - all in South Africa
i have 25 years’ work experience spanning global, regional and local roles covering end to end spectrum from development cycle to product life cycle in both major markets (12 yrs) and emerging markets (10+ yrs):-. i have been managing and leading teams for 20 years with the latest being a group of 150+ colleagues and 22 direct reports.

Sharmila Parsotam is the Senior Director of Pfizer Limited. She has been in her current capacity for 10 years and has 25 years work experience spanning global, regional and local roles covering end to end spectrum from development cycle to product life cycle in both major markets and emerging markets. Sharmila holds a Masters in Pharmacy (Industrial) and Masters in Business Administration (Executive MBA), which allows projects and issues management with technical depth, business acumen and commercial savvy. In the future, Sharmila would like to mentor other young women professionals to give back as she was mentored during her career to believe she can obtain her current success. When not working she enjoys Japanese Sword Fighting, traveling, watching sports, and reading.
