Shauna Moses is the Director of Public Affairs at New Jersey Association of Mental Health Agencies, Inc. The New Jersey Association of Mental Health Agencies mission is to promote the value of its member organizations by providing advocacy, visibility and professional development to facilitate their economic viability, which is essential to ensure their ongoing capacity to deliver quality, cost-effective healthcare and social services and supports to those they serve. Shauna has been a dynamic leader in her role since 2009, she leads comprehensive, multi-faceted communications and marketing efforts that highlight the ongoing work of the organization at the federal, state, and local level. She serves as liaison for several Board Committees, represents the organization at external and internal meetings, and oversees production of NJAMHAA electronic and print publications. Shauna is also responsible for enterprise marketing, media relations, internal communications and executive communications. She also works closely with investor relations, government relations, strategy, legal and philanthropy. She donates her time, advocates and does public speaking for Attitudes In Reverse, whose is to educate society about mental health and the need to know that the best suicide prevention plan is a good mental health awareness program. She visits schools to educate the children on mental health and suicide. She speaks to the children and addresses issues on NOT to be judged or criticized. Outside of work she likes to spend time with her dog and family, read, go to comedy shows and watch comedy movies. She also loves spending time coloring adult coloring books as the intricate detail is relaxing to her.
