Sheela Reji has over 32 years of experience in her current field. She is the Business Support Manager for WS Atkins & Partners Overseas. Her company has a main focus on engineering, designing buildings, and execution.
She works on the execution side and manages many construction projects simultaneously in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, UAE etc. She works in the regional head office in Dubai. With 520 Engineers in 40 different locations, her job is to manage a team of business support, provide support for the technical people through quality control. They have a team of 25 people doing this job and they monitor their performance, manage them and have performance reviews, understanding their requirements etc.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Mathematics. In the next few years she would like to move up the corporate ladder to team manager, working with a wide group of people. She would like to be practice manager first, then practice lead, which is similar to a director. She plans on working for 10 more years and then she and retire. Continuing to grow is important to her.
In her free time she enjoys reading and traveling. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
