As a Gr. Architect, and Project Manager, I am extremely driven, and have enjoyed a career both architecturally in the private sector, and as project manager within the public arena. It has been both rewarding and challenging. Having said that, the aspect of the profession that inspires me and keeps me motivated, is that of understanding the clients' needs, and providing an environment for them in which they can connect with, and thrive in. It is my greatest desire to continue meeting the needs of user groups, while growing with an ever changing industry. During my years of design and development, my projects ranged from high end residential, small commercial, a bit of institutional, and lower income housing. My transition from the private to the public sector, has found me in health care design and project management, with its own set of standards, rules and nuances. It is without a doubt that the past five years in health care has taught me more than I would have imagined, resulting in a perspective now geared toward patient safety and healing. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy the various facets of project development, and I look forward to the opportunities ahead in meeting the needs of the community.
