Sheila H Davis is the Founder and Director of Miss Venus Model Caribbean. She founded the competition 14 years ago and acts as its Director. Sheila is a general management professional with over 30 years of progressive experience in the luxury hospitality industry. In addition to directing the competition she also currently serves as the Engineering Office Manager for one of her island's leading facilities. She started the "Ms. Venus Model Caribbean" competition event as a fundraiser to promote tourism in her country and help more of its young women attend school. It grew from there and has now become a major regional event that raises scholarships for women around the Caribbean. She was prompted to go into this profession when she started working with her dad who operated a small property. This led her to study tourism and enter hospitality as a natural progression and she found she loved it. Her expertise is in hospitality training. Sheila does some public speaking at the annual competition event and at primary school graduations. In the next few years, her goals are to own a personal gym for women, small restaurant, and entertainment centre and to become a Resident Manager of a five-star hotel. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gain the recognition and credibility of being a member.
