Shelby Maguire is the owner of ACE Recycling, which she has run for less than a year. She recycles, refurbishes and resells electronics, and oversees the marketing, social media, and sources materials and deposit vendors. With a background in biology, she has always been interested in the environment and is passionate about making the world a better and more sustainable place. Having been a high school science teacher for the past 11 years, Shelby remains a staunch advocate for education and STEM, and plans to continue her work as a teacher in the fall. She works to educate the local community on issues and solutions, and is a seasoned mentor, organizer, and curriculum developer. She holds a master's degree in Education from Ursuline College, class of 2008. In addition to the WAoFP, she is a member of several local networking groups and the Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, she volunteers at her local school, donating recycled electronics.
