I have to daughters, the older one is a physician and the younger one hold BA in anthropology and is now studying computer science. I also have two stepsons, the older holds a master degree in Global business and marketing and the younger one is working on his PhD.

Sigridur Olgeirsdottir is the COO of Islandsbanki and has more than twenty five years of experience as manager in different industries. On an average day, she is in charge of IT and operations with a team of seven managers. She serves on the operation committee, investment committee and is responsible for the housing committee, taking care of all the properties. Initially a system analyst, and Sigridur began to work as a programmer, and has been a business leader and was in IT for years. She has a master's in Business Administration and Global Management from Reykjavik University and graduated in 2005. In 2017 she took the AMP program at HBS. In addition to the WAoFP, she is a member of Island Female Society, MFI Forum, and serves as Rotary Club President. Part of the evaluation board she is the face of her MBA program and speaks regularly at IT conferences. Sigridur credits her success to having ambition and positivity. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
