Dr. Sharda Mahabir has more than 17 years of professional experience in her career. She is an environmental Biologist who has worked as a Consultant for the past 10 years on local and international environmental projects and is currently operating out of Trinidad and Tobago where she is working as a Project Manager with the The Water and Sewerage Authority. Sharda has been with the company since 2011.
Sharda's main role is to build projects in conjunction with the community groups and government agencies. She believes that building strong communities which can take care of themselves financially and socially will lead to the eradication of environmental problems.
Sharda does a lot of public speaking engagements consisting of community training, teaching pollution, conferences and presenting. In the next few years, she plans to continue to grow internationally, continue to develop and most importantly, continue to make a difference where she can. When not engaged with work, she enjoys travel, hiking and swimming.
