More than 25 years
Savitri Seecharan has been the Office Supervisor at Red Cross Trinidad and Tobago for 13 years and has a total of 25 years of experience in her field. In this role, her responsibilities consist of supervising staff, administrating staff, managing projects, payroll, and more. Savitri started out at a trade union as volunteer director where she honed her passion for helping others.
Frequently lauded for her work, Savitri has received numerous internal awards from the Red Cross. Moving forward, she plans to retire in 5 years, go into photography, and to help youth who need advice from the women in the world. Savitri credits her success thus far to the motivation she garners from seeing the smile and happiness in vulnerable people and assisting in making them better off.
