Sigurlaug Sverrisdottir has 10 years of experience in her career, and is the owner and CEO of ION Hotels Iceland. As owner, she oversees the staff, administration, operations and financing of the hotel, and ensures that everything runs smoothly and guests are happy and well taken care of.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Finance and is highly seasoned in human resources. She is a member of the WIB, and is active with Etcetera, a charity organization in Uganda. Sigurlaug credits her success to hard work, passion and a positive attitude. She built her first hotel from the ground up, and looks forward to connecting with likeminded women and business professionals on a global scale.
