I'm a French native married to an Englishman. We have 2 grown up children : Annabelle and Samuel
I have been running my own language school since 2006. Before that I was heading the language center at Saumur Chamber of Commerce. I'm currently involved with designing on-line programmes to help passionate learners of French to learn French on line through culture.

Sylvie Reeves has over 30 years of experience in her current field as a French language coach and trainer for passionate learners of French from all over the world . She also teaches English to local companies.
After 18 years as Head of the Language Center at the Saumur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she set up her own language school Parfum de France in 2006, based in the Loire Valley, in the historical village of Fontevraud l'Abbaye. The school offers adults a wide range of language programs tailored to their needs: original immersion courses in Sylvie's 4 star gite as well as a palette of on-line programmes offering to learn French through culture which she has been developping in the past year.
. She has always had a passion for languages. She has a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages from the Université François Rabelais de Tours from 1982. She also has a Masters in Languages and International Studies -Lanchester Polytechnic in Coventry.
In the next few years she would like to continue what she is currently doing. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
