Tresia Frazier has over 15 years of experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She is responsible for counseling medically discharged veterans at 3 bases: the Air Force and Navy bases and the Rehabilitation Office in Charleston, South Carolina. She helps the transition period for her clients, ensuring that veterans pursue civilian careers that don't aggravate their disabilities. She then monitors the financial support and training to help them reach their goals. As a young girl of 9 years old people were always seeking Tresia out for advice. This only strengthened her desire to help people. She holds a master's degree in Counseling from the University of Florida and in Mental Health and Educational Leadership from Troy University. Looking ahead, Tresia plans to retire but stay active in some facet of counseling. She credits her success to the strong foundation provided for her by her parents, having faith and a positive outlook. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
