With over 16 years of experience in her field, Viviana Urbina-Araneda is the Head of the Global Value Chains Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chile where she analyzes international trends and opposing policies to improve development in designs and strategic planning within Chile. Viviana holds her Master's degree in Economics from the University of Chile and is the author of a book entitled "Fishery Subsidies." Moving forward, Viviana would like to be more involved at an international level and to share her experience with indigenous communities as well as in international trade. She wants to create organizations to help discuss issues within this sector and to continue to apply her core values of perseverance and determination. When not engaged with work, Viviana enjoys travel, reading, yoga, painting and guitar.
