With over 32 years of experience in her field, Vera Vaughn is the President and CEO of Annandale Woodbridge Play-care Inc where she is responsible for the operations and monitoring of all facilities, trains and selects staff members, quality assurance, and knows every child's name at every location.
At age 14, Vera began babysitting and fell in love with early childhood education. She now holds her Bachelor's in Childhood Education from Strayer University and is in the process of obtaining her Master's in Education, also from Strayer University. Frequently lauded for her work, Vera was named Director of the Year and won Daycare Center of the Year.
When not engaged with work, Vera enjoys horseback riding, swimming, diving and golf. She is also very active in donating time and resources to catholic charities in her community.
