Valeria Glenda Finazzi in an international lawyer with more than 15 years of experience. Valeria started her own international law firm, Studio Finazzi, in 2011, specializing in commercial law, technology and intellectual property law, and data protection. In addition to Italy (its home-base) the firm services clients in Germany, Switzerland, and India. Prior to founding Studio Finazzi, Valeria worked as an Associate Partner for four years with DLA Piper- a global law firm that represents emerging growth and technology companies. As per her educational background, she obtained her law degree from the University of Bologna in 2000. Valeria also possesses 14 PQE which qualifies her to service multinational and national companies that specialize in industries such as fashion, energy, design, software and others related to commercial law. Some of her additional areas of expertise include: data protection, advertising law, and contract negotiation. Her approach to conducting business is to remain client central and provide flexible services based on the client's needs and what is best for them. In the same manner that Valeria is committed to her customers, she is also dedicated to volunteering her time in the services of others. At least once a year, she assists in fundraising for local children's hospitals. She also believes in balancing her career needs with her personal ones--she enjoys sailing and yoga and does Pilates on a regular basis. Valeria is invited to present often at conferences on topics including e-commerce and intellectual property. In fact, in January, she will be presenting at a Microsoft conference in Italy and later in the year, with the Chamber of Commerce. She also has been featured since 2007 in publications including Il Sole 24 Ore.
