Victoria Sylvester is a Managing Director for Acacia Training Limited. She has owned the company for the past 16 years, and manages the financial aspects including business, government, and strategic planning. Her skills include team building, staff development, performance management, and coaching. Acacia Training and Development offers a comprehensive service for businesses, individual employees and unemployed people seeking work. Recognized by the Ofsted Inspectorate as a "Good" training provider, the company is one of the largest non-college based training organizations in the UK. Victoria is also a Director of 2 homes providing residential care to people over the age of 65. The homes both specialise in dementia care which is Victoria's background and have 91 residents across the 2 homes. She is registered with CQC as the Responsible Person for these. Victoria started her career in care and nursing. She is the treasurer for the PTFA and a Parent Governor. Outside of work she sponsors a child in Christian Aid which she supports so that children in 3rd world countries get the opportunity to receive education and healthcare, which are her two passions. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her four young children.
