Victoria has lived in Norway, the US, and Belgium. She recently moved to southern Spain and is working as a lawyer. She has more than six years of experience as an international company lawyer and now she is starting her career as a litigation lawyer. Her duties include meeting with different clients, reaching deadlines, reviewing contracts, giving advice on european data protection and legal project management.
She was prompted to go into this field when she realized that she wanted to help people who run their business, be more competent in the market and expand their businesses as well as helping people with low income who can’t afford a lawyer. Her expertise are in Corporate Law, IP, European Law and Data Protection - including giving presentations in companies.
Victoria holds a Bachelor in Law and a Master’s Degree (LLM) in European Law from Free University of Brussels (ULB). She is a member of the National Bar Association and she cooperates in a volunteer basis with the Spanish National Institute of Cyber Security raising awareness of privacy in the cyber world amongst teenagers.
In the future she hopes to be a lecturer and do public speaking with more experience.
In the next three to five years Victoria says she hopes to become a leader in her profession providing quality legal advice to local and international companies, as she strives to provide an exceptional client service. She says she would also like to help other women who are struggling to get out there and fight for their career. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
