As Chairperson of Can-Teach, Wanda Cakebread's responsibilities include organizing events to fund raise for future endeavors to enable people to teach English as a Second language in El Salvador, Colombia, to recruit and train people to participate in this project, and to maintain contact and further educational support in English with teachers in these areas by e-mail, Skype, etc. Wanda is passionate about social justice and conflict resolution, working toward a peaceful and better world- locally and globally. She finds that traveling expands one's understanding of everything. Education, both in terms of life experiences and academic accomplishments, is extremely important to her. Compassion is a very important virtue in Wanda's life.
