Yasmeen I. Krameddine is Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta serving as Director of Research & Development and Subject Matter Expert (SME) at ProTraining. ProTraining offers effective mental health training for police, security professionals, bus operators, university security, first responders and customer service workers. She is developing the mental health training program, comprised of hands-on and online components to increase safety in all mental health interactions.
Yasmeen speaks at conferences about her research and contributes to World Vision, Canada Mental Health Association, The Edmonton Distress Line, Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada, and the Edmonton Immigrant Services Association. In the next few years, Yasmeen is looking to expand her business Internationally into England, Spain and New Zealand. Yasmeen enjoys traveling, reading, and sports. She will be traveling to Amsterdam in October of 2016 and Prague in July of 2017 to moderate conferences surrounding her area of research.
