Yousra Bagadi is the Senior Health Specialist for Qatar Fund for Development. She has been in her current role for six months. She works for a donor organization and handles health portfolio management. She follows up with project managers, meets with partners and does mentoring with project managers as well. She came into this field by way of natural progression.
Yousra’s expertise are in strategic planning and project design. She has a Master’s Degree in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2005. She does some lecturing when she mentors the project managers. Yousra was published in an educational leaflet called Healthy Lifestyle in 2013.
In the next few years she would like to be promoted to a decision maker and be an international decision maker. She says the key to her success is being a female because she was the first to be appointed director. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
